The buffalo ears are a delicious chew that is suitable for every dog. These tasty and natural buffalo ears are excellent as a snack or to keep your dog busy for a while. Moreover, also suitable for a firm chewer.

My experience

Of course I have tested the buffalo ears extensively and I'm a big fan! I immediately wag my tail when I see that a buffalo ear is being caught. They smell very nice (I think, but my owners think otherwise) and you can chew on them quite a bit. 

Not only are buffalo ears a delicious chew snack, but there is often a leftover meat that you can eat first. I spend an average of 40 minutes on it. I usually eat the ear in one sitting, although sometimes I save a piece to nibble on later.

Good to know:

Provide this chewing snack under supervision and always provide plenty of drinking water! Allow to chew on a snack for up to 30 minutes. This way you can keep a close eye on how your dog reacts to it.

Are chews still new to your dog? Build up the chewing time slowly. Start by letting them chew for 5 to 10 minutes and then add a few minutes at a time until the max of 30 minutes.

Has the buffalo ear become so small that your dog can swallow it in one go or is only the tip left? Then take (and throw) it away as a precaution.
