A lick mat is a real must-have! Every dog ​​owner should have at least one in their closet. They are easy to make, easy to clean and have so many benefits for your dog.

When Marley experiences a lot of stimuli I like to offer her a licking mat. By repeatedly licking the mat, she becomes calm and relaxed.

I also find it an ideal way to offer her cooling on hot days by means of a licking mat ice cream. I spread her favorite treats on it (e.g. dog peanut butter, bone broth, banana and duck sprinkles), put it in the freezer for a few hours and tadaa a delicious ice cream.

You can also give the entire meal on it, in which case the lick mat serves as a slow feeder.
