We are fans of bone broth! Besides the many health benefits it has for Marley, it is also easy to use and can be used in many ways.

For example, you can use bone broth to hydrate the chunks. Before you give the chunks, add a dash of bone broth, possibly mix with some water to let the chunks soak up moisture. By doing this before the chunks are eaten, the expansion no longer occurs in the stomach and it does not extract moisture from the body.

You can also pour the bone broth into molds and freeze it, then it will keep longer and also easy to give with the meal. Some dogs also really like to lick it, so definitely see what suits your dog.

How much bone broth should I give my dog?

Up to 10% of the daily calorie requirement. For a dog of ± 10 kg this means a maximum of 1 bag per day, we advise to divide this over 2 or 3 days.

The bone broth can be stored at room temperature. After opening, store in the refrigerator and it will keep for up to 4 days after opening. By freezing it in molds, it will keep longer.
